The process to make quality concrete sand starts with our pit. We start with a quality natural raw material in the ground. Some concrete sand producers have to add a crushed rock bi-product, also referred to as “man sand,” to mix with their natural sand because their natural sand is too fine to get the coarseness required in the finished product.
We have quality natural raw material from the ground, the fillers are not necessary. Our “all natural” concrete sand gives superior strength and a more professional finish than the concrete sand that has “man-sand” added. N-TEX is one of the few sand and gravel companies in the Dallas area that can offer “all natural” concrete sand and sand products.
THE PROCESS
First, we load our high-quality sand directly from our pit into our haul trucks to deliver to the plant for processing.
OUR PRODUCT
All of our concrete sand is TXDOT approved.
